On Feb. 1, at 8 a.m, three senior student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent to receive athletic scholarships. The three senior girls who participated in the signing were Celeste Rios, Sarah Darmanin, and Paulina Speckmaier. All three athletes are members of the Girls Varsity soccer team, all of them playing soccer throughout the entirety  of their high school careers.

The signing, held in the Prep Atrium, allowed for the three girls to sign with the colleges they plan on attending next fall. Celeste Rios, co-captain of the soccer team, signed with Florida International University, while co-captain Sarah Darmanin signed with SUNY at Stony Brook University, and Paulina Speckmaier, signed with University of Florida.

“It’s exciting to finally make it official.  It feels real now and I can’t wait to compete in college,” said Darmanin.
